Ways to Give

Each year, the Fuller Center relies on gifts from our friends, alumni and volunteers to meet the immediate needs of our programs. The generosity of our supporters allows us to guide, teach, and support every child and their family in the best manner possible.  This critically needed support funds our two campuses in east and west Boca Raton.  You can target your gift to an area that interests you most such as a particular age-group, campus location, supplies, facilities, or wherever it is most needed.

Annual giving supports preschool scholarships, family support services, behavioral health services, afterschool programming, educational field trips and program related supplies.

Why Your Gift is Important

Government Grants and Program Fees do not cover the full cost of providing services to our children and their families. Gifts from generous donors fill the gap between the full cost of a program and what the family is required to pay. Without your support the cost could not be met and services would be greatly reduced and/or children would be turned away from receiving the quality care that they require to develop into strong and independent citizens of our community.

If the full cost of the Fuller Center education was passed on to our families, each family would be required to pay almost 40% more per child. Your gift ensures that our community’s most vulnerable children have medical, nutritional and educational services they need during their formative years. Your gift is critical to ensure that our children:

  • spend 1.3 fewer years in special education classes;
  • are twice as likely to have positive relationships with their families;
  • have a 44% higher graduation rate;
  • produce 50% fewer teen pregnancies; and
  • are 46% less likely to be incarcerated.

We thank our community for its support and generosity in putting the Annual Fund gift first and remembering that a gift to the Annual Fund is the very first gift that every supporter should make to the Fuller Center each and every year.

Since 2011, dozens in our community have come to love the children of the Fuller Center through Adopt-a-Class! This unique program offers you the chance to make a direct impact on the lives of an entire classroom of children by sponsoring their class needs for a year with a minimum of $1,500 of school supplies, enrichment activities, developmental screenings, and classroom necessities. Adopt-a-Class also offers you the very special opportunity to get to know the children in the class you are sponsoring, to visit their classrooms and play with them, laugh with them, and learn with them—you may even send them on educational and cultural field trips! Our wonderful Adopt-a-Class sponsors have formed lasting bonds with our children and have watched them grow. This provides great fun for individuals, couples, families, and corporate teams.

As a class sponsor you and your family, friend or corporate team are welcome to the classroom throughout the school year, beginning the third week of August and including the summer. Classes still available for the 2014-2015 school year who need your help and would love to meet you!
