We Need Rituals Now More Than Ever!
We count on them. Rituals provide an anchor when the seas are rough, and they remind us we are part of a family when life feels topsy-turvy. Research shows that regular and dependable rituals can help families remain resilient during difficult times. It’s clear the world needs to COME TOGETHER right now and, with families spending more time with one another during the COVID crisis we saw an opportunity to revisit the importance of the family dinner by harnessing the power of community, friendship and family. We may not be able to gather together but we can gather, in small groups in our homes and in our hearts as we GIVE THANKS TOGETHER while enjoying a delicious hot meal!
How it Works
Hundreds of Family Dinner Packages will be delivered throughout the community to participating sponsoring families who believe in the importance of the family dinner and wish to make an investment in our community. At 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 7th, all participants will join together virtually where the purpose of the evening will be shared in a unique virtual way – allowing us all to GIVE THANKS TOGETHER in this time of social distancing.
In addition, 500 families of the Fuller Center have been identified to receive these Family Dinner Packages which include a nutritious meal, table topic cards and activities to engage the family in a meaningful conversation about what really matters. Dinner Packages will be prepared by dozens of community partner groups to fulfill the need of our Fuller Center Families.
This experience is also open to the community as well as others who wish to participate in this very inspirational evening where “thousands of us pause together” on Saturday, November 7th as we GIVE THANKS TOGETHER.
Family Meals are $150 per family of four.
This event is made possible by all the compassionate members of our community. All proceeds directly benefit the children and families of the Fuller Center.
