At the Fuller Center, we understand the anxiety and stress for both parent and child associated with the transition from home to full time childcare, especially when a child is still an infant. The Infant Care program provides exceptional care between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on both the East and West Campuses for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months old. It’s so much more than a babysitting service!
We know that parenting is hard work and we work to ensure family success by providing resources that help mitigate some of the daily struggles of life for families. Our infant care staff members are not just caregivers they are coaches and teachers who are considered extended family by our parents. We provide 1 caregiver for every 4 infants ensuring that our children receive the individual attention and care they need to help them develop the necessary social and emotional intelligence needed to thrive in life.
The first year of a child’s life is the foundation of their learning and language abilities and the time in which a baby is developing a bond of love and trust with family and those around them so we show parents how to cuddle, play and talk to their babies to foster this important life-long bond. Our staff carefully monitors and records all developmental milestones that a baby does or does not attain. In the case of children who show developmental delay and need a little extra help in reaching those goals, we are able to provide therapies onsite or, for those children identified with severe development delays, we provide a referral to appropriately qualified external assistance. Our goal is to provide a safe harbor for parent and child and help families become the best that they can be.
Throughout the day we provide a bright and stimulating environment for our babies to develop fine and gross motor skills and socialization and verbal skills to encourage attainment of age appropriate developmental milestones. Our infant teachers hold their Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or CDA equivalent.
The Fuller Center provides infant care at $175 per week or less for families who qualify for government subsidized childcare.
