Joshua’s Story

Joshua McMann’s FFCDC Story (as of April 2016)

Joshua McMann is a senior at Olympic Heights High School in Boca Raton and a former FFCDC preschool and afterschool student. Joshua was 6 weeks old when he was first enrolled in our infant program. As he grew older, Joshua was involved in many extra curricula activities offered on campus and started volunteering in the classrooms as soon as he was allowed to, at the age of 14. It was these experiences that led him to decide on his future career path as an Early Childhood Educator. Joshua was accepted into the Academy of Early Childhood Education Program at Olympics Heights High School. He excels in school, is passionate about his studies and through his former little league football, volunteers on weekends as the press box announcer for all home games.

Joshua has accomplished great things in his first 18 years.  He served as eighth grade class president, won the Coach’s Award in football, and placed 3rd in state during his first year of wrestling. Joshua is very involved in the church, which includes singing in the choir, praise and worship team service and praise dancing. Joshua says that “His passion for Christ is AWESOME, followed by his passion for working with children.”
