Wee Dream Big-themed Ball

Showcases the work of children’s center

Excitement is in the air as the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers (FFCDC) prepare for their largest annual fundraising event, the Wee Dream Ball, to be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at Boca West Country Club. The Wee Dream Ball has become one of the foremost anticipated philanthropic events of the year.

Last year the gala hosted over 430 attendees and raised more than $740,000 for disadvantaged children.

This year guests will be transported to a Cirque du Soleil-themed night complete with live entertainment, luxurious auctions, and a special presentation from an FFCDC alumnus. The event is chaired by Board Member and PR Manager of Neiman Marcus Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach, Lauren Johnson, and President of Boca Raton Resort and Club John C. Tolbert. Johnson noted, “I have been privileged to be a long-time supporter of Florence Fuller Child Development Centers and am truly humbled to be serving as Co-Chair of this year’s Wee Dream Ball benefiting more than 850 children at or below the poverty level.” She continues, “With the distinguished John Tolbert as my Co-Chair, this year’s gala is sure to inspire all who attend.”

John C. Tolbert, a long-time supporter of Florence Fuller Child Development Centers, was delighted to accept the position. “For more than 45 years, the Florence Fuller Centers have provided children a pathway out of poverty, and I am honored to have been asked to serve as Co-Chair of an event that positively impacts the lives of so many children in our community,” said Tolbert.

Each year, the Wee Dream Ball grows in support from corporate sponsors and generous individuals, leading with Neiman Marcus Boca Raton as the Presenting Sponsor for the fourth year in a row. Other sponsors include Kathy and Paul Adkins, Marilyn and Stanley Barry, Florida Power and Light, Silvana and Barry Halperin, Amy and Michael Kazma, PurePoint Financial, Carrie Rubin, Schmidt Family Foundation, and Jill Viner.

FFCDC’s vision is to remain a premier provider of child and family education and support services for low- to moderate-income families living in southern Palm Beach County and northern Broward County. Please join us to celebrate the children, our community’s future leaders!
