The Zimmerman Family Toddler Program provides the newly independent one year old an ideal setting to explore.  During the toddler stage, children learn to walk, talk, solve problems, relate to others and make friends. Playtime is not only fun, it is critical for a child’s development. Our teachers are experts at encouraging appropriate activities that will enhance your child’s physical, social / emotional and intellectual development.

By the time your child reaches age 2 or 3, you'll clearly see his/her personality shining through. Whether your child is sensitive and somewhat ill at ease in new situations or a full-fledged diva, experts say there's a silver lining to every temperament. At FFCDC, our teachers make it their job to nurture your child's special character.

 

Facts:

	The ratio of toddlers to teachers is 5 to 1.
	The Toddlers Program ratios meet all NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) guidelines.
	Our teachers in Toddlers have National CDA's, CDA equivalent or are working towards receiving their credentials.
	Our staff is very diverse in their ethnicity and cultural backgrounds. The Toddler teachers speak English, Spanish, and Creole.
	80% of the Toddler teachers have more than 18 years of teaching.
	All of our teachers are certified in First Aid/CPR with AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) for infant, child and adult.

 

 Cost:

The Toddler Program, ages 13 – 35 months, range $95.00 - $151.45 weekly* Families that are unable to afford our minimum fee may be eligible for subsidized child care.

*The cost for our program is based on a sliding fee scale. Your income and family size determine the actual cost that a family pays but we encourage you to call the Centers for more information regarding child care fees for your child. With the exception of Early Head Start students (west campus only), or subsidized families, this program also requires a $30 registration fee.

All the children in the childcare center will be treated the same regardless of the family’s ability to pay.  No child will be discriminated against because of disability, race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation or national origin.
